Charon was born a particular dark and calm spring night, the forest seemed even blacker than it usually was. He was a very large fawn, making his birth very hard and long. When the fawn was finally delivered, it did not move. Isá already had lost her first fawn and now she, after years, had finally recovered enough to allow other fawnlings and especially a new fawn into her life, was desperate! Hagen saw that, would this fawn die too, Isá would break forever and there would be no way to meand her again. In his own desperate state, he so called upon Ùir with all his power and promised her to make his body and soul serve her forever, if only this fawn would life!

The wood was still and black, when suddenly the child awoke, coughing up water and blood, but it was alive! Isá was beyond relief, caring lovingly for the new-born. Hagen however only watched with a concerned face, remembering a vision he had had at the shaman Zeytin's cave years ago, making him not sure, if his words might have actually been heard, somewhere deep in the pitch-black darkness around them and his gift being accepted.

761 of the New Age:  Despite his dramatic entry into this world, Charon grew into a large, strong young colt with a soft, winning personality, who seems to have a natural way of getting along with pretty much everyone. However there are some voices, that began deeming the friendly colt, well, a tiny bit spooky. So far, nobody knows where to place the odd feeling Charon causes at times though. Hagen and others discovered, that Charon seems to already be able to use simple magic, Hagen however keeps denying (if he must forcefully) that there is something not quite normal about his son. Charon himself knows nothing about all this, he just enjoys playing, going out to solve his various 'important cases' and adventuring with his friends. 

Ever since his younger siblings, Thanatos and Hekate, were born, Charon very much enjoys being a big brother to the two of them. Doting on his pretty little sister and protecting his shrimply little brother. He still feels awkward about how he saw the death of Thanatos real mother in a dream before she died, but tries not think too much of it, as his father assures him, he is just as perfectly normal as all other fawns. He also developed a big crush on Skjalddas, feeling she is the strongest, most beautiful filly he ever saw.

762 of the New Age: Charon was haunted by the same nightmare ever since early fawnhood. When he talked to his mother about it, she told him to just accept it and look for the message within it. When Charon did, a wolf revealed herself to him and told him that soon he would make her proud after kissing his forehead. Ever since that day Charon's nightmares have stopped and instead he oddly enough began visiting the dreams of other fawnlings. He enjoys visiting dreams a lot more than the nightmares though, even though he still is not sure what exactly the she-wolf spoke about.

Walking off on a 'case' Charon ran into a short colt, whom he first wanted to play with, but who turned out to be very mean! He bit his ear and then something odd happened, he remembers a dark and unforgiving sensation taking over him and then he woke up again groggy and tired, when his father found him. Charon doesn't know what happened, but inside he feels it has to do with the mysterious she-wolf from his dreams, for he could swear he heard her talk about punishment and a curse to the mean fawn, before he passed out. Aside that Charon began taking lessons with the veteran stag, Brynmore. He very much enjoys the lessons. He also secretly hopes they'll make him grow strong, so he will manage to impress Skjalddas. So far he hasn't dared telling her how much he likes her, but always hides away, when he brings her secret little bone presents.

763 of the New Age: His father finds the filly Rentahait and takes her home with him. Charon knows she was cursed by her mother, who was ill. Ùir's ways are hard, but just and so there is a way to free her of the curse still. Charon knows this and so does his father. Hagen and Skoll eventually use the spirit of passed away Nierka and put it into Rentahait's body - both fillies get a second chance that way.

Charon also yet again dreams the dream he's been having since early fawnhood, however this time, the wolf in the dream actually speaks to him for the first time and tells him, he soon will make her proud. Charon is confused, but he knows he has to wait for the wolf to call him. He needs to be patient, no matter how much he finally wants to know what his dreams are about, for he knows in his heart, that they are way more, than just dreams. Hagen saves a young buck, Noctis, from a mad driven stag that attempts to kill him. Charon goes and gets the colts family, after his father treated his wounds. Charon learns that witch's malady is a very serious and dangerous illness, if it makes a stag attack his own family. He also gets to know the young warrior, Diyari, who returns him home, after he wandered off again.  

764 of the New Age:  In a strange valley, Charon meets a strange stag. He's somewhat like the ghost of the valley and Charon encourages his given task, for the Mother has a task for everyone, A pale friend of his father's shows up. She's kinda odd and her magic seems off, like it's sucking on his own, but she's also nice, so Charon doesn't mind the funny feeling he gets around her. She says some kinda confusing things, like that he shouldn't be scared to go, when his time comes, but just go. Charon doesn't quite know what exactly she means, but he believes he will soon. In autumn he once more meets the wolf in his dreams, this time she tells him, she will very soon call him to her and that his task will be revealed to him. Charon and his siblings, Hekate and Thantos get into a lot of trouble, when they find a deceased body and Hekate talks Charon into revoking it. Thankfully Thanatos fetches Hagen to save his siblings from the enraged zombie. Charon however learns, that despite his magic is strong, he needs to learn to control it, before attempting to use it. When his mother and him travel to the mointains to collect herbs in summer, Charon has an unlucky run-in with Silverthorne soldier, Tyr. Scared for his life, he yet again curses a fawnling that threatened him. However, once more, only remembers little from what happened. 

765 of the New Age: With the first winds of spring the call that Charon has been waiting for all his live finally comes. Together with his father's raven, Crow, Charon travels up the White Peak mountain, where he knows he'll recieve his final training, to make sure he is worth the task Mother Ùir has forsaken for him. The training lasts all spring and summer, it is hard, mercyless and brings Charon to the very brink of all his powers. However, he knows he needs to become more than himself, to serve the Mother and he's more than willing to do just that. After returning to the herd with a dead bear as his coming of age tribute, Charon revealed himself as the chosen Preacher of Ùir. She had called for him at the top of the mountain and revealed her mission for him, making Charon her gift to the herd. The fawnlings of Blackwood accepted him as Ùirs Preacher and he now serves them as their spiritual and religious leader the best he can.
